If you are interested in groups?

The following groups will be offered by the Center For Change. If you have any persons that would be interested in these groups please have them contact the center at (732) 457-9703.
1. Self-esteem Groups: One for adolescents and one for children 9 to 12. The focus is on increasing self-esteem, effectively handling emotions and increasing social skills.
2. Motivational Group: held for eight weeks for adolescents. The focus will be on teaching ways to design and implement successful academic plans, improving study skills, and developing self-motivational abilities.
3. Anger Management Group: on-going group for adolescents. The focus will be on teaching Choice Theory, conflict resolution skills, and relaxation techniques.
4. Relationships in the 90's: on-going for adults wishing to maximize their relationship capacities. Participants will have the opportunity to define, establish, and enhance their current patterns in relationships. Participants need not be in a relationship. The role of our personal and family histories upon our relationship patterns will be explored.
5. Women's Group: on-going group for adult women. The focus is on improving assertiveness and communication skills, and improve self-esteem.
6. Parenting Skills Group: ongoing group for parents. The focus will be on learning the art of effective discipline and loving support, setting limits and maintaining healthy relationships.
7. Single Parents Group: for adults, both custodial and non-custodial parents. Focus will be on single-parenting issues and assisting them to self-nurture themselves.
8. Marriage Enhancement Group: for adults. The focus is on improving communication & negotiation skills, using the marriage circle technique, and learning the art of self-hypnosis.
9. Self Improvement Group: for adults. The focus is on learning Choice Theory and how to apply these principles in our everyday lives so we can reach our potiental as creative and loving persons.
